Funny choice of words on Twitter.  &quot;Being followed&quot; used to mean &quot;being stalked.&quot; As you say, now in certain contexts it&#039;s a good thing.

The phrase still makes me chuckle.

I agree wholeheartedly with you - &quot;push your own boundaries before someone else pushes them for you&quot;! Not only will someone else push them, but then you don&#039;t get to chose.
