Don’t Let “Go Big or Go Home” Mess With Your Leadership

Go Big or go Home

I’ve said it before. Leadership is a tough gig. And it doesn’t help when you are bombarded with messages that say “Go Big or Go Home” is the best way to be as a leader. Sure, leaders achieve when they think big. But those huge achievements are few and far between.

The truth is, leadership is the sum of all you do and who you are on a daily basis – not just when the Big Idea hits pay dirt. I wrote a post that expands on this concept for the Lead Change Group. You can check it out at A Character-Based Leader Leaves a Powerful Legacy. While you’re over there, take a look around at a few other posts – lots of really great writing and thought-leadership going on from my fellow Lead Change contributors.
