There’s nothing more satisfying than contributing to a great cause. That’s why I’m honored to be part of Mike VanDerVort’s HR Carnival of Global Giving. Mike set out to smash Jon Ingham’s previous record of 50 contributors. Mike has sweetened the offer by agreeing to donate a dollar to the charity of choice for all of his contributors. It’s a Global Carnival because he’s inviting HR colleagues from across the globe to participate.
Mike’s goal is 100 contributors. As of my press time, Mike has 77 contributors. What an accomplishment!
Mike is a fellow word-lover (you gotta love a guy who wrote a blog post on “confluence”.) Be sure to stop by Mike’s blog The Human Race Horses for some forward-thinking writing about the HR profession.

Jennifer – Thanks so much for the recognition, and for your help with my philanthropic endeavor!
The selected charity is ChildrenAwaitingParents.org and they will be receiving at least $1,765.00 thanks to everyone who participated, including you!
You rock!
Michael
