[...] Promote A Mentoring Frame of Mind Posted on September 25, 2009 by Lisa Rosendahl from http://hrmanager.squarespace.com Hello there! If you are new here, you might want to subscribe to the RSS feed for updates on HR topics. This blog post is a collaborative effort between Lisa Rosendahl and Jennifer V. Miller. Mentoring is a fascinating topic that can be approached from many perspectives. In this post, I approach mentoring from the perspective of “what attributes can Human Resource/Talent Managers look for in potential mentors,” while Jennifer approaches mentoring from the perspective of a potential mentor and addresses the question ”at what point does a person feel ready to mentor?” [...]

As we learn self-discipline by being “discipled”, I think we love because we first receive love. The day that a spark of gratitude flashed for all of the energy and wisdom that had been invested in my life, the calling to invest in others became as natural as breathing. And yes, it is indeed a very “sweet spot”. Thank you Jennifer. Oh yeah, it's a "Yay!"
