Creating Positive Ripples for Women in Leadership

by Jennifer V. Miller

ripple of water
Will you join me in creating positive ripples for women?

About a month ago, I got an email from my colleague and fellow Character-Based Leader co-author Jane Perdue. She wrote, “It’s always rewarding to see deserving women and persons of color—past and present—receive recognition for their contributions and accomplishments during Black and Women’s History Months. Yet . . .

Do you ever wonder what women, men and society need to do so that the contributions of all genders and races are called out regularly without the need for a calendar event?

She invited me to participate in a series on her LeadBIG blog that explores potential answers to that question. The result is my post Workplace Equality: Create Positive Ripples, Not Threatening Glare.

I’d love for you to head on over to Jane’s blog, check it out and join the conversation.
