The Equation for Powerful Personal Outcomes

year 2013 under construction

A new year is upon us in twenty-three days.

How will 2013 look different for you than this year did?

The answer largely depends on choice. If you want to achieve something different, what will you choose to do differently?

Goal-setting is an important part of choosing a new path. My colleague Dana Theus takes the goal-setting process up a notch further by recommending that before we set specific goals, we start with intentions. Dana says this about intentions:

Intentions are descriptions of a desired future state. You can intend anything. If you can imagine “it” being true in the future, you can set your intention on “it.”

I’ve heard Dana describe the power of combining goals with intentions. It would be a “people equation” that looks like this:

Goals + Intentions = Powerful Personal Outcomes

I got a sneak-peek at the materials for Dana’s amazing goal-setting program this weekend. This is good stuff, folks.  Dana’s hosting a free webinar on goal-setting tomorrow, Tuesday, December 11th, 2012. If you want to check it out, click here. When you register, you’ll immediately get three free video downloads to review.

Disclosure: I’m affiliate with InPower Coaching. I don’t receive any compensation when you sign up for the free webinar. If at a future point in time you do decide to register for a paid program through InPower Coaching, I may receive a commission. Know this – I only promote products and services that I personally would use for myself. As a graduate of Dana’s Self-Promotion for Women program, I can vouch for the high quality of her programs.
